Lekha has been learning/performing Bollywood since she was 5 years old and has been performing at fundraisers and cultural events in San Diego for more than 12 years. She is co-founder of San Diego born dance companies "rhyflexion" & "Bollywood Tranz". She is known for her creativity in Bollywood fusion style combining Indian and Western forms of dances. Her first love is Bollywood but she also excels in Belly dancing and Latin dance forms. She was part of "Glitter Dance Company", an Egyptian Bellydance group and Hot Tamales, Salsa team @ Ooh La La dance academy. She has performed several international destinations like Maldives, Egypt, Saint Thomas Island, etc. She teaches Bollywood fitness and choreography classes for all abilities, all levels and all ages.

Cybele’s Latín Fusion is a blend of traditional and popular dance forms, especially rooted in dances from Latin America and the Caribbean and connected to her experience being from the United States. She creates choreography to popular reggaeton and Latin/ Caribbean music that plays with and blends movements from dance styles that have shaped her, in an organic way. A blend of steps and techniques inspired by Afro Cuban, Afro Venezuelan, Bomba, Salsa, and much more. We aim to honor and recognize the cultural context, history and technique of African Latin based dances, while providing space for freedom, creativity, and the dancer’s own true experience. The class highlights the connections between older and ancestral dance tradition with more modern street dance styles like House, Hip Hop, and Reggaetón. While learning choreography, you will also increase your movement abilities, feel like you are in a club or party, improve your hip movement mobility, and have fun!
