Youth Beg. Hip Hop (Ages 3-5)

Hip Hop includes Afrodiasporic social dance and the dance form of Breaking. The choreography will include popular moves from past to present, such as the monastery and the woah. As a cultural era, Hip Hop emerged from the Black & Latiné youth of the 1970s originally in New York City. The five elements of Hip Hop are Deejaying, Emceeing, Graffiti, Breaking, and Knowledge. The popular dance form welcomes all to participate in living out the principles of peace, love, unity, and having fun!

Beginning: For the novice dancer ready to apply foundational knowledge (from Intro/Beg.) into dance combinations.

Youth and Teen Classes provide a great way for kids to learn and master different techniques and styles. Youth and teen classes are grouped by age ranges, and offered in multi-week sessions as specified in the schedule of classes.

Choreography & Technique Classes focus on detailed choreography and technique. These classes typically involve more precise and challenging movements than the cardio classes.
