Pop Up Class | Ozi Boms x Kiné Camara

$25 per class A credit card is required to enroll but isn't charged until the time of service.

Ozi Boms(He/They) has been dancing for a decade - 4 years in North Carolina, 5 in Seattle. He moved to San Diego a year ago and is currently a member of CSSD Troupe. He has put on and danced in multiple performance pieces in his career. Ozi is trained in multiple styles: Hip-Hop (10 years), House (5 years) and Afro Dance (3 years) and is a student in other styles: Krump and Waacking. He loves to exchange, battle and share space.

Ozi also taught at numerous studios in the Seattle area for 5 years and continues to teach workshops or private classes in SD. He has been training in Afro dance, specifically Nigerian street style, for a few years and has taken Afro classes from teachers the world over. His class will be an introduction to the diversity of music, dance and culture within the African diaspora with a focus on West African and South African styles. He will go over history, the names of the moves, and a short combo. He hopes to see you all there and is excited to teach :)'

Kiné Camara is a dance artist and educator based in Seattle, WA. She loves bringing her passion for dance to the stage, and has performed with artists including Uncle Waffles, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Adekunle Gold, Sauti Sol, Archie, and Ibrahima & Safal, however her long life passion is teaching. She also founded Afro Dance Seattle, and serves as the program director in addition to teaching Amapiano dance there and with organizations like University of Washington and Cornish College of the Arts. She has also taught in other cities including Paris (FR), Vancouver (CA), Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
