BIO/CREDITS
Trevor Van Orden is a dedicated dance educator, performer, and choreographer with a strong background in both teaching and professional dance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from SUNY Potsdam and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. Trevor currently teaches K–5 dance at High Tech Elementary in Chula Vista, where he blends structure and creativity through various dance styles.
Trevor has performed with and for Borinquen Dance Theatre (where he was also a peer instructor), Dreamers Project, THAE, Brickhouse, and taught at Heartbeat Music and Performing Arts Academy, and Coronado Dance Academy. His work centers on building student confidence, discipline, and collaborative expression through rigorous, joyful movement experiences rooted in cultural relevance and artistic excellence.

Experience a dynamic fusion of Afro-Caribbean diasporic movement and modern/contemporary dance in this all-levels workshop. Rooted in rhythm, grounded flow, and expressive storytelling, the class invites dancers of all backgrounds to explore culturally rich movement vocabularies while building strength, connection, and confidence.CLASS LEVEL
