Open Level Twerk

Twerk is a dance art form characterized by rhythmic, repetitive hip movements , typically involving squatting and isolating the hips or buttocks. It has roots in various African and Afro-diasporic dance traditions and gained widespread popularity in the 21st century, particularly through hip-hop culture and social media. It evolved in the U.S. through bounce music, a subgenre of hip-hop from New Orleans in the 1990s. Twerking, while controversial to some, remains a powerful expression of rhythm, athleticism, body confidence, and cultural continuity.
